QUESTION: I haven't received my password?

ANSWER: Once an order is placed with 4Pockets.com you will be sent two emails which should arrive within minutes of purchase, one containing your PayPal receipt the second with your passwords for the products you ordered. In some cases it can take longer for those emails to pass through your Internet Service Provider so please be patient. Please ensure that your email address is valid and you have the correct spelling, as the PayPal receipt is your proof of purchase.

Please also check to make sure our automated emails are not being filtered as spam by your email service provider. Some virus protection programs such as Nortons Antivirus automatically filter incoming emails suspected as spam into a seperate folder, and may never arrive in your inbox.

QUESTION: I have downloaded the product but when I type in my password it doesn't allow me to proceed and the NEXT button is still not active?

ANSWER: All password prompts are case sensitive and may require you to use both upper and lower case letters. Please type the password exactly as received in the order confirmation email.


QUESTION: I paid for my products and I am having problems downloading them, what can I do now?

ANSWER: Once you have completed the PayPal transaction you will be presented with a number of links allowing you to download the software you have purchased. Also shortly after purchase you will receive a confirmation email from us containing a link which allows you to return to the site and download the products again. This link expires in 24 hours but should be long enough for you to complete the download.

If all the above fail then please go to our products upgrade page and enter the email you used at the time of purchase. An automated email will be sent to you containing a download link for each of the products you have purchased.


QUESTION: I am recieving an error whilst trying to install the program, what am I doing wrong?

ANSWER: Possible solutions below:

1) Some anti-virus and anti-spyware programs may prevent programs from running scripts which are neccessary for our installations to complete successfully. In these cases try either installing the software in safe mode or temporarily disable the offending program before installing our software.

2) If you have downloaded and installed windows xp (service pack 2) and receive the error message below:

c:\winnt\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications.
OR
c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications.

...then you need to read the section below which explains how to resolve the problem.

PLEASE FIRST READ THIS Explanation:

For some reason known only to Microsoft, one of the versions of Service Pack 2 was set up to check for and delete the file autoexec.nt everytime the system comes up (NOTE very few computers were affected by this). This file is in your c:\windows\system32 or c:\winnt\system32 folder depending on whether the windows operating system is under a windows or a winnt folder. autoexec.nt is not required to run Windows XP, but it is required to run many other programs particular your older 16 bit programs. To fix the problem you must have a autoexec.nt file that is read only in the system32 folder. It is a simple fix, and Microsoft is working on a fix to the problem. In the mean time, you can download the ziped file xp-sp2-fix.zip which contains a read only autoexec.nt file from this site and unzip it into either c:\windows\system32\ or c:\winnt\system32\ folder.

Fix:

Step 1: Determin if your windows operating system is loated into c:\windows or c:\winnt

Right click Start
Select Explore
Scroll down the page until you see a folder named windows or winnt

Step 2: To download and install the read only autoexec.nt file:

Click on xp-sp2-fix.zip
When asked where to download the file to, download it to any folder on your hard drive or to your Documents and Setings folder that all windows programs have.
Open the zip file, highlight the autoexec.nt file (the only file in the zipped file) and select extract
Extract the file to your c:\windows\system32\ or c:\winnt\system32\ folder depending on where your windows operatins system is located.
