Are your balls dropping in Marble Worlds? Never fear, Louise from the 4Pockets office is here with Hints &
Tips as well as a handy walkthough for level 1, with more to come. So if you don't want to be beaten by a
girl...
The most important thing you should remember is that you can
save, restore, resume and quit the game using the
Side Panel Button (button C). This will help you progress through the game in as much time as you have.
When you press the Side Panel button the menu in the picture opposite should
appear. You can press this at any point during the game.
Handy Hints
Always save at the beginning of a new level.
Try to save at a point where you have a lot of lives.
After completing something you find difficult or awkward don't forget to save.
The picture opposite features a bad marble.
You cannot kill him but you can outsmart him, be careful though, bad marbles are strong and can push you off
platforms. They can also take your energy by electricuting you. Bad marbles are usually protecting something, if
it's not a gem it will be your only way out. The bad marbles do sleep but as soon as you get close enough they
will come after you.
Handy Hints
Try to save before waking the bad marble.
Keep moving, you can outrun a bad marble.
Jump! You can also jump over bad marbles but be careful not to fall on them.
Bad marbles only protect a certain area in a level.
Don't be afraid of the bombs they are there
to help you. If you find a bomb a crumbled block should not be too far behind or infront. Usually, exploding a
crumbled block will enable you to get to places that look out of reach.
Handy Hints
Always pick up a bomb even if you can't see a crumbled block.
Keep a look out, sometimes the bombs are hidden.
There will always be a block to explode when you collect a bomb, so if you get stuck, you've missed a
bomb.
When rolling over a trigger you may not,
at first, see what it has triggered. In the picture opposite the trigger on the bridge has created a blowhole
at the very bottom of the screen. Keep a careful eye on these triggers or you may miss them. [Top]
If you come across a part of a level where you are not sure where to
go or a jump that cannot see, there should be arrows pointing you in the right
direction. The barriers, at the bottom of the picture opposite, also keep you
heading the right direction.
Handy Hints
Don't be fooled by the scenery, make sure to explore.
Check all buildings, gems, bombs and secret levels are hidden everywhere.
Take your time, it's not a race against the clock.
